Isfahan's Deputy of Crafts and Traditional Arts announced the reception of 61 National Handicraft Quality Awards in the fifth round of the arbitration.
Reported by Miras-e-Arya, quoted by Public Relations office of Isfahan Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department, Jafar Jafar Salehi said: “One of the most important features of the fifth round of the arbitration of National Handicraft Quality Awards was the presence of young artists in Isfahan; this can be a strong support for the handicrafts of the country and the province.”
He added: “45 fields of handicrafts, including Toreutics metal handicrafts, traditional jewelry, traditional metal volumes, filigree, gilding, traditional blacksmith, traditional painting handicrafts, flower and bird and traditional embroidery, rug and carpet weaving, carpentry, Khatam, Wood carving, Mosaic, and traditional musical instruments, Kalamkar traditional prints, leather handicrafts, traditional footwear, precious and semi-precious stones, traditional glassware and local clothing were presented during this arbitration period.”
"Unlike other periods, handicraft artists from the provincial cities alongside the city of Isfahan were able to present their true capacity in this field in the fifth round of the National Handicraft Awards," Jafar Salehi said.
